Special Registration
Special Registration applies to a Registered Nurse coming to PEI for a short period for a special purpose and is registered in another Canadian province or territory as their home jurisdiction. You will need verification from the first jurisdiction where you were initially registered as well as the current jurisdiction where you are registered. Please visit the applicable jurisdiction’s website for information on how to request a verification.
A special class registration entitles the registrant to work for 30 consecutive days. No more than three (3) special class registrations may be issued in any registration year per registrant.
